A Fairly Fashionable 50th anniversary

After much anticipation and feeling like June 4th would never come, it was finally time to announce the designers of the year at the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards last night in NYC!

And the winners are….

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen of The Row for Womenswear designer

Billy Reid for Menswear designer

Reed Krakoff for Accessories designer

Big Congratulations to the winning designers and the rest of the winners of the night on behalf of the EngieStyle team!

Here are some of my favorite looks of last night’s fashionistas: Mandy Moore in Lela Rose, Rachel Zoe in her own design, and Mary Kate and Ashley in their winning collection The Row.

PS-Did I not mention just a few days ago how everything the Olsens create is flawless? Told you so.

Billboard Babes!

Although there were many fabulous fashions to be seen on the red carpet at the May 2012 Billboard Music Awards..a few DEFINITELY caught my eye. The winners are Miley Cyrus in Jean Paul Gaultier, Taylor Swift in Elie Saab, and Carrie Underwood (looking VERY Carrie Bradshaw) in Oscar De La Renta. STUNNING!!!!! Check them out!!

I Spy Cannes Fashion

On May 16th at the Cannes Film Festival, Diane Kruger and Eva Longoria prove you don’t need to be walking down the aisle to be rocking a train…It turns out, all you need is a red carpet.

Eva wows the crowd in a Marchesa design. Marchesa’s head designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig once again prove to me they can do no wrong.

Diane wears a custom made Giambattista Valli gown, looking like a Grecian goddess.

2011 Met Gala: Engie’s Favorites

The Met Gala is my favorite fashion event of the year! It is the only single event that keeps me anxious and excited to see what all the attendees are wearing…
The Met Gala to me is a mix of the Oscar’s red carpet, MTV music Awards and of course a touch of Paris Fashion week..  Nothing is off limits and everyone always looks beyond Stunning..
This Year’s Met Gala was the opening of Alexander McQueen “Savage Beauty”!
My Favorite of the night was Sarah Jessica Parker in Alexander McQueen from 2005
Best Gentleman of the evening was Bradley Cooper
Best Couple Miranda Kerr (Marchesa) and Orlando Bloom
Miranda looked like the white Swan <3 LOVE IT
Coolest Couple: Karl Lagerfeld and Blake Lively Both in Chanel!
The Hostess with the Mostess: Anna Wintour (in chanel) with her Daughter
Christina Ricci gets the Love it Award!!

I love it!!!! Chirstina Ricci in Zac Posen with Zac Posen
Who were your favorites?

Royal Wedding

Princess Ameerah Al Tawil, wife of Saudi Prince Al Walid bin Talal wore a custom made Zuhair Muard Couture dress especially made for the occasion. The light rosewood satin with silk lace overcoat was decorated with hand embroidered organza flowers. Her dress and overcoat were accessorized with matching shoes, a clutch, gloves and a hat all by Zuhair Murad. She was my favorite and not because she’s my client :) <3 <3 Engie

Emma Stone

Emma Stone in Preen looked A-list Red Carpet Ready! I lover her new look!

Vanessa Hudgens

Venessa Hudgens: White suit (mimi plange) gave the actress a more sophisticated look. I  def think she should have kept the blazer on all night. I do love the attempt of costume change..
